THE COMPANY

We are proud to be working with a market-leading FinTech firm who are completely transforming their Data Science division over the coming months. With an enormous engineering project coming to an end, the new Data Science team will be applying machine learningtechniques and real-time decisioning in order to better understand user behaviour and automatically detect irregularities.


THE ROLE

You will:

[*]Build and develop algorithms to indicate problems & automate solutions.
[*]Use & manipulate data from the new distributed systems.
[*]Produce and deliver insight to stakeholders.
[*]Have a say in the evolution of analytical methods within the business.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
You will have:

[*]An MSc or PhD in a quantitative discipline (applied statistics, computer science or similar).
[*]Previous experience in implementing machine learning techniques & algorithmic development.
[*]Knowledge of distributed systems & back-end tools such as Hadoop.
[*]A solid understanding in programming languages such as R, Python or Matlab.
